Racing America Remembers Kyle Busch

In memory of Kyle Busch, Racing America has curated a playlist of some of his greatest short track racing triumphs from the archives.

REMEMBERING KYLE BUSCH

Busch, who was competing for Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series, was best known as a two-time champion of NASCAR's premier series with 63 career wins. He also recorded 102 victories in the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and 69 wins in the Craftsman Truck Series.

He also won some of the biggest Late Model races in the country, finding time to compete in marquee events as his NASCAR schedule allowed throughout his career. Kyle Busch won the Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in 2009 and 2017. The 2009 victory was part of an incredible season where Busch also won his first of three consecutive SpeedFests, the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown, the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway and the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway.

Other triumphs of Busch's on the short tracks include three total wins in both the Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown and SpeedFest, the 2018 Winter Showdown at Kern County Raceway, the 2011 Oxford 250, and three wins in the Rowdy 251 at Berlin Raceway.

Racing America remembers and honors Kyle with a special tribute collection that includes broadcasts, highlights and interviews from several of his short-track triumphs and marquee appearances. Along with footage from some of those wins, there is also footage from other marquee events the legend competed in, such as last year's Memorial Day Clash 200 at Oxford Plains Speedway.
