Race Day Schedule Available for Allen Turner PLM Opener at Five Flags
The road to this year's Allen Turner Snowflake 100 begins on Friday, April 5 at Pensacola's Five Flags Speedway.
The race day schedule is available for the first race of the Allen Turner Hyundai Pro Late Model Series at Five Flags Speedway on April 5.
The Allen Turner Series crowns the Pro Late Model track champion at Five Flags each year, and gives competitors from across the country the opportunity to race at the Pensacola half-mile ahead of the Allen Turner Snowflake 100. The Snowflake 100 is part of the Snowball Derby weekend, traditionally taking place on the eve of the biggest race in pavement Super Late Model competition.
There will be practice available for teams on Thursday, April 4 ahead of the race on Friday, April 5. Along with the Allen Turner Pro Late Models, the Dock of Pensacola Beach Sportsman, Faith Chapel Outlaws and Story & Bleich Crown Stocks will also be in action for the weekend.
Pro Late Model practice will begin at 3:30 p.m. CT on Friday, with local division practice starting at 5 p.m. The Outlaws and Pro Late Models will qualify at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively, while Sportsman and Crown Stocks will determine their feature lineups through heat races.
Those heat races will open the racing program at 8 p.m. CT on Friday evening, with feature racing following the heats. The full schedule of events can be viewed below.
