After joining the American-Canadian Tour in 2019, QA1 Precision Products based in Lakeville, Minnesota has continued their partnership with the international Late Model touring series through 2026. After establishing one of the first controlled spec-shock programs for asphalt racing in 2004, ACT brought QA1 Shocks on board to give teams a second option in manufacturers alongside Koni Shocks that has only strengthened the successful cost cutting and competition boosting program.
The Q in QA1 stands for quality above all, being the #1 priority to ensure QA1’s products are consistent, reliable, and unbeatable on the circuit. QA1 machinists follow strict processes, use precision machinery, and inspect all products to ensure the quality meets QA1’s high standards
As part of the multi-year partnership as an American-Canadian Tour approved shock for use on both the tour and multiple short-tracks across New England and Quebec, QA1 will continue to provide a set of 63 Series shocks for blind draw at the ACT Tour, Thunder Road and White Mountain season-ending banquets while also providing technical assistance and testing when needed.
“I was glad to hear QA1 continued their partnership with (ACT),” said ACT Director of Competition Pete Knight. “Teams were glad to have the choice when we first got together in 2019 and I’m glad that they’ll continue to do so as we move forward.”
The American-Canadian Tour begins year forty-six on New England’s biggest stage with the 4th annual Northeast Classic at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 13. The five-division rundown the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models, the Tour-type Modified Open and more in this can’t miss show!
