Sunday, April 21 will now be a practice day at Oxford Plains Speedway, and the track's 2024 season will now begin on April 27-28.

Officials at Oxford Plains Speedway have announced Sunday, April 21 will now be a practice day and there will be no racing due to saturated grounds.

"Due to a very wet front parking lot, we're going to change Sunday, April 21st from a race day to practice day ONLY," stated the track. "Due to no parking for our fans, only the pits will be open. Front grandstands and front parking lot will be CLOSED."

Pits will open at 9 a.m., with pit passes available for $25. The fuel and tire barn will open at 9:30 a.m., and practice will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. rotating between all attending divisions.

With the postponement, WOXO Opening Day will now be Saturday, April 27 at Oxford Plains Speedway. Next weekend is a doubleheader at the Maine facility.

Saturday's racing card features the Oxford Championship Series, with Super Late Models, Limiteds, Street Stocks, Mad Bombers, Runnin' Rebels, Cruisers, Rookies and Thunder Stocks in action.

The action continues on Sunday, April 28 with the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model 150, the American-Canadian Tour Pine Tree State 125, PASS Modifieds and the Little Webb's 350 Super Series.
