The Northwest Super Late Model Series has postponed Saturday's Liberty Launch Academy 125 at Stateline Speedway due to the high threat of rain in the weekend forecast.
"Unfortunately with the high threat of rain, and race teams traveling greats distances, the series along with the track, have decided to postpone our Liberty Launch Academy 125 at Stateline Speedway for Saturday," announced the series. "Our rescheduled date for this event is August 20th."
The Liberty Launch Academy 125 was slated to be the third race of the Northwest Super Late Model Series season. Preston Peltier won the season-opening Apple Cup 125 at Tri-City Raceway, while Evan Goetz won in his first-ever NWSLMS race, the Leonard Evans 150 at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval.
The next scheduled event for the series is the South Sound 125 at South Sound Speedway on May 28.
