A whopping 68 entries have been filed for the 49th Annual Oxford 250, taking place on August 26-28 at Oxford Plains Speedway.

The biggest race of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) season and the crown jewel of Northeastern Super Late Model racing, the Oxford 250 always draws a star-studded field. This year will be no exception.

Headlining the entry list are several former Oxford 250 winners hoping to add another trophy to the collection. Former winners include Travis Benjamin, defending champion Cassius Clark, Johnny Clark, Gary Drew, Curtis Gerry, Glen Luce, Eddie MacDonald, Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., Ben Rowe, Scott Robbins, Bubba Pollard and Jeremie Whorff.

Former PASS champions such as D.J. Shaw, Derek Griffith, Mike Hopkins and Joey Doiron will also take part in the Oxford 250.

Shaw currently leads Polewarczyk and MacDonald in the PASS National Championship standings. Meanwhile, Ryan Kuhn leads MacDonald and Gabe Brown for the PASS North Super Late Model title. The Oxford 250 counts towards both points battles, so this could be a pivotal race in those championship hunts.

It will also be a chance for the local racers of the Oxford Championship Series to keep the big Oxford 250 prize home. Max Cookson currently leads the Oxford Plains Super Late Model track championship standings, followed by Calvin Rose, Jr. and Kyle DeSouza.

Race day for the 49th Oxford 250 is Sunday, August 28. There will be racing all weekend long leading up to the marquee event, including PASS Modifieds, the American-Canadian Tour, the Modified Racing Series, the New England Supermodified Series and many of Oxford Plains' local divisions.
