CHARLOTTE, N.C. (September 21, 2022) - McCallister Precision Marketing returns as the presenting sponsor for Racing America’s coverage of the 2022 ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway.

The biggest event of the Late Model Stock Car season, the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 always draws a large field of competitors vying for a $32,000 prize and the signature Martinsville grandfather clock.

Several MPM clients will be competing in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300, including Michael Faulk, Jared Fryar and Ross “Boo Boo” Dalton, as MPM enters its 17th year in the motorsports industry.

Not only is the event one of the biggest in short track racing, but it also holds a special place in McCallister’s heart. Lee McCallister, Tonya’s father, was the car owner and builder for Robert Powell’s 1999 victory in the Martinsville 300.

“Martinsville has always been an important place to us. The iconic trophy clock they present is sought after by so many! Even my son, Elliott, always wants to race at Martinsville on NASCAR Heat so he can try to win the grandfather clock.”

“My dad’s house car won there in 1999 the day after our nanny passed away. Dad gave me the clock a few years back and it’s really special to not only me but my entire family. The Martinsville clock itself is amazing, and for us it’s just a little more than a grandfather clock.”

Teams will first take the track at 2 p.m. ET Friday, September 23 in a four-hour practice session. Qualifying will follow Friday evening at 8 p.m. ET to set the lineups for the four qualifying races.

Fan gates will open at 12:30 p.m. ET Saturday, with a Fan Garage Experience autograph session taking place starting at 12:45 p.m. Racing begins at 3 p.m., with pre-race ceremonies for the feature starting at 5 p.m. and the 200-lap feature race starting at 7 p.m.
