Mother Nature just will not leave racing fans alone this Summer. On Saturday, persistent rain at Hickory Motor Speedway forced CARS Tour officials to postpone the remainder of USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225 to Sunday afternoon.

According to CARS Tour, the action will continue at Hickory Motor Speedway at 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, July 30th.

When the action gets restarted, the 100-lap CARS Tour Pro Late Model feature, which got roughly 22 laps in before the weather hit, will conclude. At the time of the red flag, Cole Butcher had taken the lead after passing polesitter Connor Zilisch.

Following the finish of the CARS Tour Pro Late Model event, the CARS Tour Late Model Stock Tour will take the track for it's 125-lap Main Event.

Leading the Late Model Stock Tour competition to the green flag will be Hickory Motor Speedway veteran Kade Brown, who scored his first-career CARS Tour pole position.

Brown turned a lap time of 14.918 sec. in qualifying, which was enough to best Mason Diaz for the pole.

CARS Tour LMSC point leader Carson Kvapil will roll from the third position on the starting grid while three-time champion Bobby McCarty, and Ronnie Bassett Jr. will fill out the top-five starters in Sunday's race.

It was an ultra-competitive qualifying session for the LMSC field as the time differential from first to last was a mere 0.346 sec.

For those looking to attend the event, the Hickory Motor Speedway pit lane will open for competitors at 11:00 AM ET, and the grandstands will open for spectators at 12:00 PM ET.
