CONCORD, N.C. (January 5, 2022) - Montgomery Motor Speedway and Racing America have reached a broadcast agreement for the 2022 season, with Racing America broadcasting the entirety of the 2022 Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series as well as the Southern Super Series’ visit to the Alabama half-mile.
Racing America will broadcast seven events from Montgomery during the 2022 season. These dates include the six races for Montgomery’s Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series, as well as the Southern Super Series’ visit to Montgomery on June 11.
Racing America will also be the place for coverage of the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour, including its three races at Montgomery in 2022. The Modifieds of Mayhem will visit Montgomery on March 5, September 3 and November 5.
“We are excited to partner with Racing America to deliver a top-notch streaming broadcast of all of our Show Me the Money Pro Late Model shows, kicking off with the Alabama 200 ‘Hunt for the Bear’ on March 5. 2022 coverage will also feature all three Modifieds of Mayhem tour events at MMS and some great exposure for our exciting local divisions.
“Nothing is more exhilarating than watching short track racing in person… but sometimes your fans can’t make it or may be out of town. Racing America brings that action right into your living room.”
“We are thrilled to continue bringing fans racing action from Montgomery Motor Speedway,” said Racing America president Colin Smith. “Montgomery is one of the historic venues in short track racing.”
The Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series will begin on March 5 with its most prestigious event, the Alabama 200. Past champions of the series include Augie Grill, John Bolen, Hunter Robbins, Bret Holmes, Casey Roderick and Christopher Tullis. Tullis is now the two-time defending champion of the series, winning the title in 2020 and 2021.
