After a rough start to the beginning of the New England racing season, Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials are excited to return home to Thunder Road International Speedbowl this Saturday and Sunday for the 27th Community Bank 150. While the traveling faithful are looking forward to round two in the 2025 season, perhaps more excited are the weekly warriors of the Nation’s Site of Excitement as they begin their season in earnest!

Leading the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invaders is defending champion and current point leader Gabe Brown. Brown is coming off a first career win at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on April 19 and has made increasing gains at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. The #47NH posted a third-place finish in last year’s Community Bank 150 and qualified with a fast time to earn the Booth Brothers Pole Award in October’s Vermont Milk Bowl. The Center Conway, New Hampshire-driver is looking to nab his first career Thunder Road victory while cementing his place at the top of the leaderboard in the Milton CAT standings.

Another Milton CAT touring star in Derek Gluchacki is looking for Thunder Road redemption. The Dartmouth, Massachusetts-driver stood a strong chance at taking the Vermont Milk Bowl last October until a hole in the oil pan leaked all hope at a final run against Marcel Gravel. The names Dragon, Shaw and Laperle are among the top contenders looking for another Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour win on the Barre highbanks while Jimmy Renfrew, Jr., Kasey Beattie, Raphael Lessard, Jesse Switser and Tanner Woodard join Brown and Gluchacki in the hunt for career win number one!

As always, a large contingent of the Maplefields/Irving Late Models are expected to defend their home turf against the incoming Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invaders. Leading the charge is defending Community Bank 150 champion Chris Pelkey after the former King of the Road track champion took his first ACT checkers at his hometrack last May. Another one to keep an eye on is defending King Kaiden Fisher, the 16-year-old phenom who took the track championship last summer and looks to join Pelkey and take his first Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour win at his home track this Sunday.

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returns home next Saturday and Sunday for opening weekend at the famed Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vermont. Following the annual Car Show and open practice day on Saturday, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will contest the 27th annual Community Bank, N.A. 150 on Sunday, May 4 with a 1:30pm Post Time. The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors join in the fun to kick-off the 66th season of racing at the Nation’s Site of Excitement!
