Northwest Super Late Model Series Opens its Season at the 55th Annual Apple Cup

Washington State's rising star, Levie Jones, is gearing up for a significant transition as 2024 looms. Having carved a niche for himself in the Northwest racing scene with notable victories across various tracks, Jones is set to traverse 2,000 miles eastward to showcase his skills at the Berlin Raceway in the coming year.
Situated on the outskirts of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Berlin Raceway is renowned for its lucrative super late model events, substantial fan turnout, and a calendar brimming with diversity. The 7/16th-mile oval track will serve as the new battleground for Jones and his No. 92 Camaro in 2024.
The 18-year-old Jones' recent accolades include setting a new track record at the Montana 200 and collecting a victory at Stateline Speedway in Idaho last summer. With roots in quarter midgets and legend cars, 2024 signifies his fourth year competing in the late model category.
"I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to compete at Berlin this season. Working alongside everybody at VanDoorn Racing Development gives us a great foundation to start from," commented Levie. "Other than needing a few more sponsors to come onboard, we are ready for the season to go green on April 20!"
Berlin Raceway is celebrating its 74th racing season and the 12th year of integrating super late models into its annual roster. Highlight events include the Money in the Bank 150 on June 12 and the Tekton 250 Battle at Berlin, a grand event with a $40,000 prize slated for August 7.
