NASCAR Cup Series
Starting Lineup: NASCAR Cup Series Mobil 1 301 at New Hampshire
Sep 20, 2025
Johnny Clark scored his first Pro All Stars Series (PASS) win since May of last year, returning to victory lane at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday night.
Last May, Clark scored his 50th career PASS victory at White Mountain. The wait for win 51 took longer than most would have anticipated, but ended in Saturday's PASS Spectacular at the North Woodstock, New Hampshire facility.
Taking advantage of a late-race restart, Clark muscled past Gabe Brown to score the victory in the PASS Super Late Model contest. Brown had taken the lead on lap 115, but Clark capitalized on the high side on the last restart of the evening for the win.
"The car was really, really good," said Clark. "It just didn't fire off on that restart that Gabe was able to drive around me, but I knew I had to have my tires really clean when we had a restart with 11 to go.
"I knew that he'd race me clean. We were rubbing, rubbing, rubbing, not giving an inch, but it's always fun racing Gabe. We were rubbing hard those last 40 laps. The high side was the place to be on that last restart."
Four of Clark's last five PASS wins have come at White Mountain, including a pair of victories in 2023. After a sluggish start to the 2025 season, Clark knocked on the door of victory lane with top-five finishes in his last four PASS events before Saturday's win.
Now, he'll be riding the momentum of a victory when PASS returns to White Mountain next week.
"It's been a really rough year and a half, just trying to get back to where we need to be," said Clark. "I can't wait to come back to White Mountain next weekend."
Brown was as far back as 15th in the early stages of Saturday's race, but worked his way into the top five by lap 70 and took the lead on lap 115. However, the late-race restart proved to be his undoing before settling for a second-place finish.
"We just got mired out back early in the race and just had to pass a lot of cars," said Brown. "It sucks that a caution was brought out by the worst car here and cost us a win. Probably, if we get to start on top, we probably could have pulled it off. Second to Johnny here probably isn't a bad thing."
Austin Teras rounded out the podium, acknowledging he did not have the pace to compete with Clark and Brown for the victory. However, he was pleased to come away with a podium finish on the evening.
"I thought it was an okay race," said Teras. "Those two were way better than us and they deserved to run 1-2. I don't know if we quite deserved third. I've had better cars here and finished worse, so I'll take a better run with a worse car today."
Joey Doiron finished fourth, with Sylas Ripley rounding out the top five.
The Pro All Stars Series returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 27, alongside the PASS Modifieds, NEMA Lights, the Thunderstock Crown Vics and the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers. Fans can watch next Saturday's event live on RacingAmerica.TV.
