In a thrilling race that saw four different leaders in 75 laps, Jackson Boone scored the victory in the Pro Late Model division at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway on Saturday night.

Chase Johnson jumped out to the early lead, and maintained the top spot until a caution as Mark Day fell off the pace and pulled to pit road. On the lap 35 restart, Anthony Bello claimed the lead from Johnson.

Bello kept the lead, but faced pressure from Opening Night winner Brett Robinson and former track champion Cole Williams. As the two drivers battled nose-to-tail, Robinson's car broke loose exiting turn two with 10 laps to go.

As Robinson fought to regain control of his No. 5, it hooked right just as Williams also made contact, unable to avoid Robinson. The end result was Robinson hitting the outside wall head-on. He walked away from the impact, but the incident set the stage for a late restart.

On that restart, Williams jumped ahead of Bello. Jackson Boone joined the fight, however, and pulled alongside Williams in the closing laps. Using the outside lane to his advantage, Boone took the lead with three laps to go and pulled ahead to win by 0.309 seconds over Williams.

The 75-lap race took part prior to the ARCA Menards Series East Music City 150 at the Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. It was originally scheduled for 100 laps, but shortened due to time constraints after a brief rain shower on Saturday afternoon.

Prior to the Pro Late Model race, the Street Stocks took the track for a 35-lap feature, which was shortened by two laps due to the rain. Ayden Oliver scored the victory in that race, finishing ahead of Chad Chaffin and Cole Baxter.

The Pro Late Models return to Nashville on Thursday, May 28 in the Rackley Roofing Battle of Broadway 150. The mid-week showcase leading into NASCAR weekend at nearby Nashville Superspeedway pits Nashville's Pro Late Model locals against the touring stars of the Turn One CRA Pro Series.
