Inclement Weather Cancels Friday Action at Hickory, Sets Up Double-Header on Saturday
The St. Patrick's Day 150 scheduled to run on Friday night will now take place on Saturday before the Easter Bunny 150, and RacingAmerica.TV will have live coverage of both races from Hickory.
Heavy rains and thunderstorms rolled through North Carolina on Friday afternoon, leaving Hickory Motor Speedway awash and forcing the Pro All Star Series to postpone all on-track activities scheduled for the day, including the St. Patrick’s Day 150.
The postponement of Friday’s scheduled events at the 0.363-mile track now creates a double-header on Saturday, March 16, with both the St. Patrick’s Day 150 and the Easter Bunny 150 being run on the same day. Pit gates are scheduled to open at 8:00 AM ET on Saturday.
With Friday’s inclement weather, the combined event will feature nearly 500 laps of green flag racing across three different divisions.

The revised schedule of events has Super Late Model practice beginning at 9:30 AM ET, with racing starting at 11:00 AM ET. The St. Patrick's Day 150 will follow the 50-lap MASS Street Feature. Practice for the Easter Bunny 150 is slated to begin at 3:30 PM ET, with the heat races and features starting at 4:45 PM ET.
Coverage of the day's events will begin at 11:00 AM ET, live on RacingAmerica.TV.
Hickory Motor Speedway will be selling a $30 Adult ($15 Junior) double-header ticket, only ahead of the St. Patrick's Day 150. At the conclusion of the first event, a single-event ticket will be sold for the Easter Bunny 150 for $20 for Adults and $10 for Juniors.
Fans unable to attend Saturday’s events can follow the action all day by purchasing the All Access pay-per-view on RacingAmerica.TV. The $39.99 All Access broadcast will allow fans to watch both sessions of the Saturday doubleheader of racing for one price.
