The 13th Georgia Summer Nationals will feature a Super Late Model Doubleheader on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2025, sanctioned by the ASA Southern Super Series as non-points events.
Cordele Motor Speedway is thrilled to announce a major update to its 2025 schedule with the return of the 13th Annual Georgia Summer Nationals, now featuring a Super Late Model Double Header on Friday, September 5 and Saturday, September 6, 2025. These events will serve as Super Fest #2 and Super Fest #3, as part of the expanded Super Fest series.
Sanctioned by the Southern Super Series as non-points events, the doubleheader weekend will offer more than $65,000 in total prize money for Super Late Model competitors.
On Friday, September 5, teams will compete in a 75-lap main event, with $7,500 to win and $750 to start. The action intensifies on Saturday, September 6, as drivers face off in a 125-lap feature paying $10,000 to win and $850 to start.
“These events are a big boost for racers and fans alike,” said Ben Sumner, Operations Manager of Cordele Motor Speedway. “We’re proud to bring this level of racing excitement back to Cordele and continue to grow Super Fest into one of the region’s premier short track racing traditions.”
Originally, Super Late Models were scheduled to compete at Cordele on October 4, but with the addition of this marquee September doubleheader, that event will no longer take place. However, teams participating in all three Super Fest events will still receive automatic credit for Super Fest #4, preserving their eligibility for the Super Fest bonus monies awarded at the prestigious World Crown 300, set for October 24–25, 2025.
“We appreciate Cordele Motor Speedway stepping up with a high-quality event that makes logistical and financial sense for our teams,” said Tim Bryant, Director of the Southern Super Series. “This doubleheader weekend is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year.”
