Formation of South Atlantic Pro Series Announced, Debuting in 2025
The South Atlantic Pro Series (SAPS) announced it will begin competition in March 2025, featuring Pro Late Models at tracks throughout the Carolinas and Tennessee in its inaugural season.
The new year has brought a new Pro Late Model series to the Southeast.
The South Atlantic Pro Series (SAPS) announced it will begin competition in March 2025 early Wednesday morning. The principals of the new series are Shane Higgins, Shad Higgins and Keeley Dubensky.
According to their release, the series plans to compete at tracks throughout the Carolinas and Tennessee during its inaugural season. Tri-County Speedway, located in Granite Falls, North Carolina, and owned by the Higgins brothers, plays host to the season opener and finale.
"The series is set to debut at Tri-County Speedway, with 3 visits to the track, including the championship race," states the series release. "SAPS will also pay visits to some of the most popular short tracks in the South East region. A finalized schedule for the South Atlantic Pro Series will be released soon, along with further competitor information."
