Officials from The ASA Southern Super Series announced that Five Star Race Car Bodies would support the series in 2023, beginning with the season opening Clyde Hart Memorial 100 at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida last Tuesday.
Five Star Race Car Bodies will award a $100 product certificate at each of the ASA Southern Super Series events this season, plus a NEXGEN Body at seasons end.
“We’re excited to partner with the ASA Southern Super Series again in 2023,” commented Chris Weiss, Contingency Coordinator for Five Star.
Stephen Nasse earned the $100 Five Star Race Car Bodies Hard Luck Award at New Smyrna, suffering from mechanical problems after leading the 100 lap Clyde Hart Memorial early on. Nasse, the defending Winchester 400 winner and the 2022 All-American 400 champion finished 29th after leading 24 laps.
The next event for the ASA Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco Race Fuels will be Saturday, March 11 at Five Flags Speedway. The Sunshine State 200 will also serve as the inaugural event for the new ASA STARS National Tour, and the opening event for Five Flags Speedway Blizzard Series.
