ASA Southern Super Series and Cordele Motor Speedway officials have unveiled the entry list for the McAllister Painting Georgia Summer Nationals presented by TrueShield Roofing.
As of Wednesday, September 3, 17 cars are entered for the doubleheader weekend, which will boast 200 laps of Super Late Model racing and a chance to win $17,500 across two nights of racing.
Everyone in the field will be looking to stop Bubba Pollard this weekend. Pollard has won the last four runnings of SpeedFest, held each January at Cordele. He continued that streak earlier this year with his fifth career win in the event. He also won the first race of Cordele's Super Fest Series, which paves the road to the World Crown 300 in October.
Some familiar names also dot the entry list, including a former two-time Georgia Summer Nationals winner. Jake Garcia, who won the Summer Nationals as a single-day event in 2021 and 2023, will take advantage of an off weekend for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series to return to his home state of Georgia for the Super Late Model doubleheader. Fellow Truck Series competitor Johnny Sauter is also entered in the race.
While this weekend's events are non-points races for the ASA Southern Super Series, SSS events at Cordele have been dominated by Georgia natives. Stephen Nasse, who won the 2020 Summer Nationals, is the most recent driver outside the Peach State to win the event. He'll look to add another Summer Nationals win or two this weekend.
Jett Noland has won two Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction Pro Late Model races this year at Cordele, while Jake Finch also won at the track at Pro Late Model competition in 2025. Both will be looking to add a Super Late Model win this weekend during the Summer Nationals.
Other drivers to watch include Matthew Craig, Michael Atwell, Gavan Boschele, Jade Avedisian, Colin Allman and Dylan Fetcho, among others in the field.
