Entry List Announced for ASA STARS Michigan 300 at Owosso

The Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour heads to Owosso Speedway on Wednesday, August 20 for the Michigan 300, with a field of 25 Late Model competitors entered for the mid-week event.

Among the entrants are a trio of NASCAR Cup Series competitors. Noah Gragson, Carson Hocevar and Erik Jones are all taking part in the event, with both Jones and Hocevar returning to their home state of Michigan for the contest.

Cole Butcher, who will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut at Bristol Motor Speedway in September, currently leads the ASA STARS National Tour points standings. He'll lead a cast of Late Model standouts including the likes of Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse and Derek Thorn into Owosso.

Other ASA race winners this season entered for the Michigan 300 include rookies Gavan Boschele and Carson Brown, as well as Derek Kraus.

Last year, Chandler Smith won in ASA's return to Owosso Speedway. The Ovid, Michigan facility also hosted a trio of events in the original ASA National Tour in the 1970s, won by Junior Hanley, Randy Sweet and Mike Eddy.

Advance tickets are on sale for $15, while seniors, military personnel and first responders can purchase discounted tickets at $12. Children ages 15 and under receive free admission.
