Cordele Motor Speedway is proud to announce that the 2025 edition of the prestigious World Crown 300 will be officially sanctioned in partnership with the ASA Southern Super Series, marking a new era for one of short track racing’s most iconic events. The race will take place October 24–25, 2025, at the famed Georgia half-mile oval.
First contested in 1983, the World Crown 300 has long been a proving ground for Super Late Model racing’s biggest names. For decades, it was held at Gresham Motorsports Park, where it built a reputation as one of the toughest and most respected crown jewel events in the country. Now, under the sanctioning umbrella of the ASA Southern Super Series at Cordele Motor Speedway, the event gains even more stature and competitive firepower heading into its latest chapter.
Cordele Motor Speedway owner Greg Noland expressed his excitement about the partnership:
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with the ASA Southern Super Series to sanction this year’s World Crown 300. Tim Bryant and his team operate with the highest level of professionalism, and it’s been a pleasure working with them. This partnership ensures that the World Crown maintains the elite level of competition and integrity that racers and fans alike have come to expect.”
The addition of the ASA Southern Super Series sanction brings enhanced structure, tech oversight, and a deep roster of Super Late Model talent to the World Crown weekend. With a legacy of excellence behind both the track and the series, fans can expect a weekend of high-stakes racing that lives up to the event’s legendary status.
More details on schedule, format, and purse will be announced in the coming weeks.
