ASA Southern Super Series
Georgia Summer Nationals Returning to Cordele on September 5-6
May 21, 2025
From former and defending touring champions to recent and first-time race winners, everyone entering Monday’s contest has eyes on the chance of taking home a big prize at the end of the afternoon.
The Entry List for Monday’s $10,000 to win Big O Classic 100 at Owosso Speedway for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance features a wide spread of talent in Template Late Model Racing. From former and defending touring champions to recent and first-time race winners, everyone entering Monday’s contest has eyes on the chance of taking home a big prize at the end of the afternoon.
Defending Big O Classic 100 winner, Chase Pinsonneault is putting together a stunning weekend of racing in his 131 Motorsports Park No.14. Racing at Hickory Motor Speedway for the Ross & Witmer 255, Newport Speedway for the Food Country USA 300, and the Big O Classic 100 Presented by Refer Peterbilt at Owosso Speedway all in one week. The Belle River, Ontario driver aims to sweep the week by winning the two Super Late Model features at Hickory and Newport with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour and the Pro Late Model JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event at Owosso on Memorial Day Monday. Pinsonneault earned his first career JEGS Tour win and win in the States during last year’s Big O Classic.
Fresh off his first career win with the JEGS Tour, Muncie, Indiana native, JP Crabtree has eyes on a $10K payday Monday afternoon. The USA Tire-sponsored No.83 was in a fierce battle with Keegan Sobilo and Logan Bearden during the Great Deals 100 at Anderson Speedway two weeks ago, which ended in Crabtree going to Victory Lane. Sobilo earned his best career finish of second that same night, which he’ll look to build on Monday.
2024 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion, Blake Rowe is back with the JEGS Tour on Monday afternoon, looking to find redemption at the track that has troubled him in the past. While his finishes haven’t reflected the trouble he’s had at Owosso, the stories behind the finishes do. In last year’s Big O Classic, Rowe finished 10th after spinning on the backstretch after the halfway mark of the race. In the 2024 Masters of the Pros, Rowe was leading inside of five laps to go when contact sent him to the tail of the lead lap and ended in an eighth-place finish. Finally, at the Owosso Nationals, Rowe’s run for the checkered flag was cut short due to rain, which brought the scheduled 150-lap race to an end after 105 laps.
Other drivers to keep an eye on Monday are JEGS Tour Rookie of the Year hopefuls Chris Shannon and Avery Demland. Shannon is returning to Owosso Speedway for the first time since flipping and sliding down the front stretch in last year’s Owosso Nationals. Demland is unloading her OneFive Motorsports car at Owosso Speedway for the first time since her end-of-season test session last year.
Dylan Stovall won the New Stars event at Owosso last year during the Owosso Nationals and was a contender in the Owosso Nationals before weather moved in, awarding Kyle Crump the win. Crump is also set to return to the Big O Classic for the first time since his win in the event in 2023. Brandon and Evan Varney will make their first JEGS Tour start of the season Monday afternoon, along with Evan Shotko, who nearly won the Big O Classic last season. Former JEGS Tour and 2024 ASA/CRA Super Series Champion, Chase Burda, is back on Monday afternoon as well.
The $10K to win Big O Classic 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance is Monday, May 26th at Owosso Speedway alongside the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS, who will also race for 100 laps. Advanced tickets are available at OwossoSpeedway.com or at the gate on race day. Adult tickets are just $15.
