A total of 26 cars are entered for the PepperJack Kennels Twin 100s at Five Flags Speedway, which will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 21-22.

Both nights of racing will be part of both the ASA Southern Super Series and the Deep South Crane Blizzard Series. Along with providing two points races in one weekend, this weekend will be one of the last chances for Super Late Model teams to compete at Five Flags in preparation for this year’s Snowball Derby, with just one Blizzard Series race remaining on September 23.

William Byron will add to his list of Super Late Model appearances in Friday’s Super Late Model feature, taking part in the first night of the Twin 100s before heading north to Pocono Raceway as part of his NASCAR Cup Series obligations.

Byron most recently competed at Five Flags in the 2022 Snowball Derby, where he finished sixth. Last week, he scored a top-10 finish in the Slinger Nationals at Slinger Super Speedway.

The top six drivers in the ASA Southern Super Series points are entered for the weekend at Five Flags. Matt Craig leads the points standings, followed by Gio Ruggiero, Michael Hinde, Jett Noland, Jake Finch and Bubba Pollard.

However, Finch will only be racing on Saturday night, as he will be competing at Pocono Raceway Friday with the ARCA Menards Series. 2022 Snowball Derby winner Derek Thorn will pilot Finch’s No. 51 for Phoenix Racing on Friday night.

The PepperJack Kennels Twin 100s will also shake up the Blizzard Series points standings. Jeremy Doss finished second in the ASA STARS National Series’ Sunshine State 200, which also opened the season for Super Late Models at Five Flags. He is the only driver who finished in the top five that evening currently entered for this weekend.

Another former Snowball Derby winner will be making his return to the track this weekend as well. 2019 Snowball Derby winner Travis Braden is entered in the No. 9 for Jett Motorsports. This will be Braden's first race since taking part in the 2022 Chili Bowl, and first trip to Five Flags since the 2020 Snowball Derby.

The full entry list can be viewed below.

Each race in the PepperJack Twin 100s will pay $10,000, and the best overall performer over the course of the two nights will win an unprecedented prize package towards the 56th Annual Snowball Derby presented by Hooters.

The driver with the best average finish over the two nights will earn incentives and prizes for the Snowball Derby such as four sets of tires, eight passes to the PepperJack Kennels VIP hospitality, eight week-long pit passes, the race entry fee, track rental for testing the weekend before the Derby, and 25 gallons of race fuel.

On Friday, the Super Late Models will be joined by the Faith Chapel Outlaws and the Lloyd’s Glass Pure Stocks. The Modifieds of Mayhem will be part of the Saturday racing card along with Story & Bleich Roofing Crown Stocks. Racing will begin at 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET on both nights.
