Centerville, Tenn. (February 3, 2022) – In a week that our nation celebrates Girls and Women in Sports, Rackley W.A.R. is pleased to announce that Brittney Zamora will compete for the Show Me The Money title in 2022 at Montgomery (AL) Motor Speedway.

Zamora has developed a rich history with the team in a short period of time, becoming the first female driver in history to win in Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway’s premier late model division in 2021.

Prior to that, Zamora made two starts with the race team in 2020 posting a 6th place finish in a 100-lap regular season Pro Late Model event and an 11th place finish in the Super Late Model portion of the All American 400 weekend.

The 22 year old from Kennewick, Washington that now calls Lebanon, Tennessee home, says she is excited to continue developing her driving career on the east coast.

“Being able to run full time at Montgomery will be huge for my racing career. I get the opportunity to show my skills to a new audience and competitors and get to show that I am competitive at this level. We’re going to take our momentum from our win in October at Nashville and bring it into the new season. I truly believe 2022 will be the biggest year for me in terms of taking my career to the next level as well as proving my capabilities.”

Zamora is a winning second-generation driver who began racing at the age of four. Her resume includes karts, mini stocks, late model, and she has successfully driven in the Northwest Super Late Model Series as well as the NASCAR/ARCA West and East Series’.

Driving in the Northwest Super Late Model Series in 2017 and 2018, she became the first female to win a race and a championship in the same year. She was ultimately crowned champion both years.

In 2018, Zamora was the Washington State Rookie of the Year in NASCAR's Whelen All-American Series. She was also among a group of 12 drivers invited to NASCAR's Drive for Diversity combine in 2019.

Zamora is a student at Washington State University, completing her degree online, and she also works a part-time job. She’s acknowledges she is still finding balance after her move across the Country and keeping up with her commitments, but says she remains focused on finding continued success for she and her race team.

“I am definitely focused on running the Show Me the Money Series. I want the best results possible. It would be a huge statement for my team, Rackley W.A.R., to go win the championship and I’m going to be doing everything I can to make it happen. It will be a rewarding challenge that I am prepared to do.”

Michelle Boykin, Chief Operating Officer of Rackley Roofing Company, expressed her passion to expand female leadership, not only in sports, but in all business.

“Rackley Roofing is delighted to support Brittney this year as a driver. As a female leader in a male-dominated industry, I can relate to the challenges that she has to face in order to be successful. Her determination, drive, and results prove she has what it takes. Rackley Roofing seeks out opportunities to empower women in roofing and other male-dominated markets. It is an honor to be able to sponsor Brittney.

Team co-owners Curtis Sutton and Willie Allen issued a joint statement saying, “Brittney is going to bring more diversity to our team. We focus on growing our individuals as an organization. Adding Brittney and her success will continue our commitment to building the best team possible. We are excited to see her continued competitiveness and her intense drive to a championship this year.”

“It’s a really good feeling knowing they have my back and believe in my driving abilities,” said Zamora. “I know every time we unload the car that they put their all into it and that we have a good shot at winning and having podium finishes. I cannot thank my entire team, including Rackley Roofing Company, enough for the opportunity and for trusting me as a driver and as their representative. It’s rare to meet a group of men and women that are so hard-working, so it’s an honor to be representing each of them,” said Zamora.

The 2022 Show Me the Money series’ season kicks off with what many consider the biggest Pro Late Model race in the country, the Alabama 200 on March 5. The season will consist of six events and will be decided once again in November for the Alabama State Championship races and the Southern 100 Pro Late Model finale.
