Making only his 2nd start in a late model, Brett Suggs will team up with Georgia's TH Motorsports for the SpeedFest as part of the JEGS/CRA All-Star Tour at Crisp Motorsports Park on January 27th-28th.

While Suggs has never made any laps on track at the Watermelon Capital, he will rely on the expertise of team owner, Kyle Hood, and fellow TH Motorsports driver, Tanner Carter, for assistance, as well as studying footage and talking with the team's veteran spotter, Marcie Hood. Although Brett hasn't physically tested the surfaces of the 3/8-mile oval, he's been there many times in 2022 with TH Motorsports and Tanner Carter with Brett Suggs Racing Marketing.

Entering 2023 with one prior Pro Late Model start to his name, Brett hopes the learning process of the new racetrack will be quick and easy.

"When I was getting ready for Hickory, I had the benefit of turning thousands of laps on iRacing prior to the race. With Cordele not being on the service and no track being as unique as this place, I will have to depend on race footage, old SpeedFest replays, and the team themselves to best prepare for it."

In 2022, Tanner Carter drove from an 18th qualifying spot to a top 10 finish in his first SpeedFest. Brett's goal for this year is to score a top 10 as well, but most importantly finish the race on the lead lap and clean. After a top 5 in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series at Hickory, Suggs is confident that he has the team and capability to run well, but he believes he must eliminate the mistakes and run a smarter race in order to finish well.

"There's going to be a completely different plan for Cordele. I felt like I did enough to prepare for the Brawl in November, but looking back, I found many things I can work on. Not just physically, but mentally as well. Hickory was a demanding race after not being in the car for over a year, and I felt the impact of that during a long green-flag run. I will be more physically prepared, as well as mentally, when we get back on track."

Partners for the TH Motorsports #15 will be announced in the coming weeks as the SpeedFest weekend approaches. Brett Suggs would like to thank Kyle Hood for the opportunity to race in top-tier equipment again, and he is grateful for the support of #Team33, fans of BSR, and followers of Brett Suggs Racing Marketing as he prepares for his next big event.
