The Management Team of the Jennerstown Speedway along with the Champion Racing Association has mutually agreed to cancel the October 1st Fall Brawl at the Jennerstown Speedway due to low expected car count as a result of the ongoing supply chain shortage issues along with increased operating cost that have plagued the short track racing industry across the country.
“It is the absolute last thing we wanted to do,” remarked Billy Hribar, General Manager at Jennerstown Speedway. “We wanted the first Fall Brawl at Jennerstown to be a huge success but with all the obstacles teams currently face we just don't see that it is possible to produce the scale of event we have hoped for. Most, if not all racers do this as a hobby, and they must take care of their families and business first. The inflation challenges we are currently facing has forced many teams to scale back on traveling events and race closer to home or not at all. Unfortunately, we have fallen short of the necessary entries to produce a successful show. Working with the CRA officials has been great and the last thing we want is to host an event that doesn't justify the hard work the series and speedway have put forth.”
