The Rick Sirmans Memorial takes place at Citrus County Speedway on Saturday, paying $5,555 to the winner of the 75-lap Mod Mini feature. Ahead of Saturday's race, here are 10 things to know about the event.

1 - Citrus County Speedway will be the site for this weekend’s race. The three-eighths of a mile oval opened in 1955 and has hosted several Florida Late Model touring series as well as many other regional series and events.

2 - Super Late Model veteran Wayne Anderson won the first two runnings of this race when they were held at the Showtime Speedway (FL). Anderson hasn’t run a lot of Modified or Mini Modified events until recent years.

3 - Racing America will be live at Citrus County for the main event if you can’t make it to the track to watch. Also the local races will also be broadcasted live on Racing America.

4 - Michael Hinde scored the win in the Rick Sirmans Memorial last year. He beat a stacked field of 26 cars with Garrett Larson, Jason Lester, Ronnie Larson and Brandon Blemble. The 2020 race went to Eric Cuchta, Dennis Valdez and Wayne Anderson.

5 - The winner of the main event will pocket $5,555 for the victory on Saturday.

6 - Kasey Kilfoyl could be one to watch in this race, as he was the 2021 track champion by a four point margin over Clint Foley. Despite visiting victory lane several times, Foley came up short after a mid-season DQ.

7 - For those heading to the track, racing starts at 7:30pm with qualifying at 6:30pm and the grandstands opening at 5pm. General admission tickets are just $15, with $5 tickets available for children under the age of 17 and free admission for children six and under.

8 - The Rick Sirmans Memorial will be a 75-lap event for the Mod Mini class at Citrus County Speedway (FL).

9 - While the Mini Modified race is the main attraction on Saturday the local classes will be in action as well. The Ford Outlaws will go for 25 laps, the Pure Stocks will also have a 25-lap event and the Little Gator Motorsports Legends Cars will also have the track for 25 circuits.
