Double Nickel Race Cars Partners With Natural Bridge Speedway

Crate Late Model competitors at Natural Bridge Speedway will have something extra to race for throughout the 2024 season thanks to a new partnership with Double Nickel Race Cars.

Beginning with the season opening race on March 30, Double Nickel Race Cars will serve as the presenting sponsor of Natural Bridge Speedway as well as the title sponsor of the Double Nickel Crate Late Model division.

As part of the new partnership, the champion of the Double Nickel Crate Late Model division will receive a free Double Nickel Race Cars powder coated chassis at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

“To have Benji Hicks and Double Nickel partner with Natural Bridge is huge,” said Natural Bridge Speedway Promoter Amanda Bradley. “When this all began, I never thought I would get the support of such a well-known company. Double Nickel is a top-notch professional company, and I am beyond honored he has decided to come on board as the sponsor of our Crate Late Model division as well as the presenting sponsor of Natural Bridge Speedway.”

Owned by veteran Dirt Late Model racer Benji Hicks, Double Nickel Race Cars was created in 2022 and offers top quality products to dirt racers across the United States. Drivers like Ross Bailes and Donald McIntosh are among the drivers to win races in Double Nickel Race Cars chassis’ in 2023.

“When Amanda and her marketing team first reached out to me about becoming a partner of Natural Bridge Speedway, I was excited to jump on board,” Hicks said. “Giving away a new chassis to the champion of the Crate Late Model class is a great way to foster support for one of the most popular divisions in the Southeast.

“I feel honored and privileged to be in the position to be a racer giving back to the racer. I think it’s a great opportunity to be involved with a facility such as Natural Bridge Speedway. They, like all of us, are striving to keep racing alive and well.”

Bradley is looking forward to kicking off the 2024 season at Natural Bridge Speedway on March 30 and she’s excited to do so with the support of Double Nickel Race Cars.

“I want to not only be able to support Double Nickel and Benji, but also give back to the local racers who support Natural Bridge each and every week,” Bradley said. “To give back to the Crate Late Model champion like this is incredible.

“These racers spend a lot of money and time to show up to compete and support Natural Bridge and I feel the only right thing to do is to show our support in return. I encourage everyone to come out to our season-opening race on March 30 to support all these amazing race teams.”
